Samsung launches 45nm application processor (Digi Times)

Samsung Electronics has announced it is sampling its S5P6440an ARM11 series of application processors manufactured on 45nm low power CMOS process technology. The device will be targeted at electronic (CE) products and is scheduled for volume shipment in the third quarter of this year.
